Our traditional Pennsylvania Dutch snickerdoodle cookie recipe dates back to Anna Mary “Grussy” Smucker, also known as Grandma Smucker, who was featured in National Geographic in 1938. She lived by the motto, “Bake snickerdoodles, and they will come!” She always kept these cinnamon-dusted sugar cookies on hand for the grandchildren. Today, we bake them the same way—crisp around the edges and chewy in the center—and you’ll want to keep them on hand, too!

Two dozen traditional snickerdoodle cookies made from scratch in our Lancaster County bakery from an old family recipe. If you’re looking for Amish baked goods online, you’ll love these Pennsylvania Dutch specialties. Nationwide delivery.
We suggest freezing our shoofly pies, whoopie pies and cookies if you are not going to consume them within 1–2 days after you receive your order. For best results, wrap them in tin foil and thaw at room temperature.
