My family had a fabulous time at Bird-in-Hand Family Inn. Very clean and wonderful indoor pools and hot tub. I'm not a pool person, but I enjoyed the warm pool water. Attentive staff and very kind.... Highly recommend this property.read more

We had an excellent stay here. The rooms were very well kept and clean. The room rates were good, and the management was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also clean, and had good food at good... prices. The pool was nice too. It's very family friendly, and has a good location. We look forward to coming back in the future!read more

I love this place so much. There is so much to do. The rooms are SOOOO nice and really perfect for families. I love that the bakery is across the street, and the farmers market next door. There is a... smorgasbord next door as well, but we didn't enjoy that. Can't wait to visit again.read more

In the heart of our village, the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn in Lancaster, PA is built on land that has been in the Smucker family for generations – since 1925, when John E. Smucker bought the farm from his father-in-law. Today, we have 125 rooms and continue to improve on our resort-style country inn for the benefit of our Guests.

With one outdoor and two indoor swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, an on-site fitness center, and other recreational facilities, our Bird-in-Hand country inn is the perfect place for an active family or group.
