AMISH COUNTRY MOTEL

Housekeeper – PT
Several Saturdays and Sundays per month – 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and stocking Guest rooms to ensure the Amish Country Motel’s high standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas or assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed.

BIRD-IN-HAND BAKERY & CAFE

AM Scratch Baker – FT or PT
We make nearly all of our products from scratch and we are looking for someone who enjoys the baking process from start to finish. We are known for our pies, breads, donuts and cakes. We even make our own ice cream! We would like our AM scratch baker to eventually be trained in all areas of production so if you like to learn this is the job for you. A positive attitude is a must.
At least 1 year of food service production is preferred.
Most shifts will start between 3am and 7am. Full-time or Part-Time.

Artisan Bread Baker– FT
The artisan bread baker is a full-time position that involves the production of artisan bread and other rolls and loaf bread as needed. Production duties include mixing dough, scaling bread, baking bread and packing the bread to fulfill orders. The job also may involve assisting bakers with various handling of other baked goods. This position requires at least one year as a bread baker in a commercial setting.

Assistant Bakery Production Manager – FT
The Assistant Bakery Production Manager will assist with daily production operations and provide leadership to staff. Working closely with production team on a daily basis. Assisting with scheduling, purchasing, training and development of new products. Full time – Mostly early mornings. Weekends and Holidays.
At least 5 years of baking experience and at least 2 years of experience with supervising or leading staff.

Bakery Attendant – FT or PT
Currently looking for part-time opener and closer retail attendants with the ability to fill in as needed for Bird-in-Hand Market. Part-time closers will complete closing checklists in an efficient and accurate manner and count and organize money at the end of the day. They will offer a welcoming atmosphere to our Guests and insure the Guest service standards put forth by the Smucker family are consistently met.

Bakery Production Manager – FT
Provide effective and authentic leadership to all aspects of our bakery production department. We are a high-volume scratch bakery servicing retail locations and wholesale accounts.
• Work alongside production staff while providing leadership and training
• Become fully versatile and trained with the production of all of our products
• Responsible for quality control, product consistency and ensuring established recipes are followed
• Scheduling, purchasing, training and development of new products
• Assist with labor cost control and budgeting
• Must be available for shifts starting as early as 2 am
• Positive attitude and effective culture and team building are a must.
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive baking experience and at least 3 years of department leadership.
• Preferred experience in scratch baking with breads, pies, cakes, donuts and pastries

Cafe Attendant – FT
Café attendants have a wide range of responsibilities including taking Guest orders, preparing food and beverages and keeping the self-serve and seating areas clean and organized. Attendants offer a welcoming atmosphere to our Guests and ensure the Guest service standards put forth by the Smucker family are consistently met. To succeed in this position, you must have food service experience, be able to multi-task, have excellent customer service, integrity, positive attitude, and love working with people!. Must have availability to work anytime between 5:30 am and 6:30 pm and Saturdays. A local candidate is preferred because of the early hours. The position could be part-time.

Donut Finisher – PT
The Donut Finisher is responsible for filling and icing a variety of donuts and preparing them for distribution. Every Thursday plus one other day Monday – Friday 2pm – 7pm. Experience or a food service background helpful.

Donut Production Manager – FT
The Donut Production Assistant is responsible for mixing and prepping dough, frying and assisting with finishing donuts. At least 2 years of bakery or cooking experience preferred. Full time, including weekends and holidays

Market Supervisor – PT or FT
We are looking for someone to supervise our two baked goods stands at Root’s Market and New Eastern Market. In addition to weekly ordering, scheduling and cash handling you will be expected to work with and supervise the staff at each market every Tuesday and Friday. This position can be part time or full time with additional days at our retail store. Driving requirements include transporting product and staff with company vehicles. Human Resource Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the corporate office, providing support to Senior Managers and Ownership, assisting with marketing and accounting functions. Front Desk Agent – PT
Responsible for checking guests in and out of their rooms, answering any questions guests have, making
recommendations for activities and restaurants, answering the phone and directing calls to the right department, taking reservations, maintaining
the record of guests that have checked in and out, maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area and keeping it organized.
20 – 25 hrs/wk. Flexible Schedule mornings, evenings, 2 weekends a month and Holidays

Housekeeper – PT
The job entails cleaning and stocking Guest rooms to ensure the Family Inn’s high standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas or assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed. (8:30 am – 1:30 pm)

Houseperson – PT

To clean, disinfect and stock guest rooms to ensure Bird-in-Hand’s high standards of cleanliness. To clean and disinfect corridors, foyers, stairwells, and other areas. To serving guests as needed with room runs, luggage handling, and other requests. Assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed. (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm)

Night Maintenance – PT
2-3 days per week from 4-12 pm. Includes weekends and 1 weekend per month on call. Experience in basic electric, plumbing and preventative maintenance required. Valid drivers required.

Pool Attendant – PT
The Pool Attendant is responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality in our hotel pool areas and common areas. Able to sweep, mop, fold towels, and interact positively with guests and team members. Able to work until 10 pm weeknights and weekends. Some holidays. Nights and weekends a must.

Reservationist – PT

No Experience required – flexible schedule -. Must work 2-3 weekends per month. Closed Sunday.

Host/Hostess – FT & PT
To greet our Guests with a smile, escort them to an appropriate seat, and assist them in any way that will enhance their dining experience. Handle all cashiering procedures at the end of their service. No Sundays. 18 years of age and older Part-time or Full-time, AM or PM.

Lead Buffet Attendant – FT & PT
Our lead buffet attendant is expected maintain an attractive display of fresh quality foods while greeting and interacting with our guests in a professional manner. We are looking for someone to lead by example and set the tone for the rest of our buffet attendants. This position requires effective communication with co-workers and managers to help coordinate food production and special needs for our guests. Prep Cook – FT & PT
Responsible for following the recipes for the production and quality of all of the foods served here at the Family Restaurant. Full-time and Part-Time.

Restaurant Shift Manager – FT, mix of days, nights and weekends
Our shift managers provide leadership to all areas of restaurant operations in a manner that is consistent with the standards and guidelines established. They are expected to promote a positive, high service culture with the staff that is consistent with the mission and foundational values of the company.
Position Requirements:
• Regular manager on duty shifts including days, night, weekends, and Sunday breakfast
• Works with back of the house and front of the house to ensure that we are serving consistent quality food and guest service
• Handles Cash deposits and daily reporting
• Able to fill in various positions as needed
• Seeks to maintain positive, proactive communication and feedback with staff members

Breakfast Attendant – PT

Front Desk Innkeeper – FT and PT, flexible schedule, includes evenings, weekends and holidays
The front desk innkeeper is responsible for greeting guests, checking guests in and out of their rooms, answering any questions about Bird-in-Hand, the Village Inn property or the area, making recommendations for activities and restaurants, answering the phone, taking reservations, maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk area and the property and assisting with laundry.

COUNTRY ACRES CAMPGROUND

Maintenance Supervisor – FT
Oversee and perform general maintenance work to ensure maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained at Country Acres Campground and Travelers Rest Motel. Oversee all areas of maintenance, grounds keeping, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance. Work with property managers to ensure timely execution of work. Participate on the management team.

TRAVELERS REST MOTEL

Housekeeper – PT
The Housekeeper is responsible to clean, disinfect and stock guest rooms to ensure Travelers Rest’s high standards of cleanliness. To clean and disinfect corridors, foyers, rooms, and other areas. serving guests as needed with room runs, luggage handling, and other requests. Assists Housekeeping Supervisor as needed. Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
Part-time. Approximately 25 – 30 hours a week. Includes weekends and holidays.
