AMISH COUNTRY MOTEL
Front Desk Clerk – PT
6-14 hours per week. Responsible for checking guests in and out of their rooms, answering guests questions, making recommendation for activities and restaurants, answering the phone, taking reservations, maintaining the record of guests that have checked in and out, maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area, keeping it organized and helping with laundry. Flexible schedule evenings and holidays.
Housekeeper – PT
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and stocking Guest rooms to ensure the Amish Country Motel’s high standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas or assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed. Several Saturdays and Sundays per month: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.
BIRD-IN-HAND BAKERY & CAFE
AM Scratch Baker – FT or PT
We make nearly all of our products from scratch and we are looking for someone who enjoys the baking process from start to finish. We are known for our pies, breads, donuts and cakes. We even make our own ice cream! We would like our AM scratch baker to eventually be trained in all areas of production so if you like to learn this is the job for you. A positive attitude is a must.
At least 1 year of food service production is preferred.
Most shifts will start between 3am and 7am. Full-time or Part-Time.
Assistant Bakery Production Manager – FT
The Assistant Bakery Production Manager will assist with daily production operations and provide leadership to staff. Working closely with production team on a daily basis. Assisting with scheduling, purchasing, training and development of new products. Full time – Mostly early mornings. Weekends and Holidays.
At least 5 years of baking experience and at least 2 years of experience with supervising or leading staff.
Bakery Attendant – FT or PT
Currently looking for part-time opener and closer retail attendants with the ability to fill in as needed for Bird-in-Hand Market. Part-time closers will complete closing checklists in an efficient and accurate manner and count and organize money at the end of the day. They will offer a welcoming atmosphere to our Guests and insure the Guest service standards put forth by the Smucker family are consistently met.
Cafe Attendant – FT
Café attendants have a wide range of responsibilities including taking Guest orders, preparing food and beverages and keeping the self-serve and seating areas clean and organized. Attendants offer a welcoming atmosphere to our Guests and ensure the Guest service standards put forth by the Smucker family are consistently met. To succeed in this position, you must have food service experience, be able to multi-task, have excellent customer service, integrity, positive attitude, and love working with people!. Must have availability to work anytime between 5:30 am and 6:30 pm and Saturdays. A local candidate is preferred because of the early hours. The position could be part-time.
Cake Decorator – PT
The cake decorator is a part time position for a person with at least 1 year of experience that involves baking and decorating custom cake orders, assisting with cake and icing production, taking Guest orders and creating seasonal displays for the retail store.
Donut Finisher – PT
The Donut Finisher is responsible for filling and icing a variety of donuts and preparing them for distribution. Every Thursday plus one other day Monday – Friday 2pm – 7pm. Experience or a food service background helpful.
Market Supervisor – PT or FT
We are looking for someone to supervise our two baked goods stands at Root’s Market and New Eastern Market. In addition to weekly ordering, scheduling and cash handling you will be expected to work with and supervise the staff at each market every Tuesday and Friday. This position can be part time or full time with additional days at our retail store. Driving requirements include transporting product and staff with company vehicles. Company benefits including health insurance and 401K incentive are available with full time option.
Corporate Accounting Manager – FT
This position’s responsibilities include supporting unit managers and their staff regarding accounting issues to enhance their unit’s performance, establishing and maintaining accounting policies, processes, systems and information, overseeing IT processes; overseeing monthly and year-end closing, consolidating and reporting, assisting the external CPA firm with preparation of year-end closing, tax reporting, regulations and governance; accounting oversight of real estate investments and partnerships, budget process and preparation; managing banking relations and overseeing administration of casualty and workers’ compensation insurance.

the record of guests that have checked in and out, maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area and keeping it organized.

Housekeeper – PT
The job entails cleaning and stocking Guest rooms to ensure the Family Inn’s high standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas or assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed. (8:30 am – 1:30 pm)

To clean, disinfect and stock guest rooms to ensure Bird-in-Hand’s high standards of cleanliness. To clean and disinfect corridors, foyers, stairwells, and other areas. Night Maintenance – PT
2-3 days per week from 4-12 pm. Includes weekends and 1 weekend per month on call. Experience in basic electric, plumbing and preventative maintenance required. Valid drivers required.
Pool Attendant – PT
The Pool Attendant is responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality in our hotel pool areas and common areas. Able to sweep, mop, fold towels, and interact positively with guests and team members. Able to work until 10 pm weeknights and weekends. Some holidays. Nights and weekends a must.
