BIRD-IN-HAND BAKERY & CAFE

AM Scratch Baker – FT or PT
At least 1 year of food service production is preferred. Most shifts start between 3 am and 7 am. We make nearly all of our products from scratch and we are looking for someone who enjoys the baking process from start to finish. We are known for our pies, breads, donuts and cakes. We even make our own ice cream! We would like our AM scratch baker to eventually be trained in all areas of production so if you like to learn this is the job for you. A positive attitude is a must.

Cafe Attendant – FT or PT
A wide range of responsibilities including taking Guest orders, preparing food and beverages and keeping the self-serve and seating areas clean and organized. Attendants offer a welcoming atmosphere to our Guests and ensure the Guest service standards put forth by the Smucker family are consistently met. To succeed in this position, you must have food service experience, be able to multi-task, have excellent customer service, integrity, positive attitude, and love working with people. Must have availability to work anytime between 5:30 am and 6:30 pm and Saturdays. A local candidate is preferred because of the early hours.

Cafe Supervisor
Provide overall supervision and management assistance to the cafe. This will include manager on duty shifts which includes oversite of both retail and café staff. Must have open availability Monday – Saturday. At least three years of experience in a food service leadership role. Must be Servsafe certified (will provide training). Basic computer skills. Cash handling. Must have a positive attitude.Manager on duty shifts. Opening and closing café and retail. Provide supervision to retail in absence of manager or lead. Cash handling accountability. Assist management with weekly tasks such as scheduling, ordering, interviewing and training. Assist with special projects like product costing and development. Assist with insight and strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction. Help control labor costs and minimize food waste. Hold staff accountable. Help create and maintain a positive culture. Work with the staff performing all tasks and lead by example.

Donut Production Assistant – FT
Responsible for mixing and prepping dough, frying and assisting with finishing donuts. At least 2 years of bakery or cooking experience preferred. Includes weekends and holidays.

Retail Attendant
Offer a welcoming atmosphere to our guests and ensure guest service standards are consistently met. Needs to be able to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 5:30 am and 6:30 pm. Previous retail and food service preferred.

Office Administrator – PT
The office administrator will serve as an assistant to the Senior Management Team, assist with general Corporate administration and assist with accounting, marketing, human resources and real estate management. Responsibilities include answering phones, filing and general clerical work, worker’s compensation administration, casualty insurance administration and other duties as assigned. Job qualifications include superior organizational skills, detail orientation, proficiency with MC Office, Word and Excel, administrative experience, adaptability, dependability and ability to multi-task.

BIRD-IN-HAND FAMILY INN

Front Desk Agent – PT/FT
Responsible for checking guests in and out of their rooms, answering any questions guests have, making recommendations for activities and restaurants, answering the phone and directing calls to the right department, taking reservations, maintaining the record of guests that have checked in and out, maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area and keeping it organized. Guest service and/or computer experience is recommended.

Housekeeper – PT/FT
The job entails cleaning and stocking Guest rooms to ensure the Family Inn’s high standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas or assist Housekeeping Supervisor as needed.

Houseperson– PT/FT (evenings & weekends)
Job Duties include cleaning of common areas and bathrooms of hotel, collecting trash from multiple properties and taking to dumpster. room runs as needed, light maintenance duties, cleaning of busses, light pool duties as needed.  Hours are 4-10 pm weekdays and 4 pm-12 am weekends You must have current driver’s license, e self-motivated and be able to lift 40 lbs.

Maintenance Worker – PT/FT
Dayshift. Includes weekends and 1 weekend per month on call. Experience in basic electric, plumbing and preventative maintenance required. Valid drivers required.

Pool Attendant – PT
Responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality in our hotel pool areas and common areas. Able to sweep, mop, fold towels, and interact positively with guests and team members. Able to work until 10 pm weeknights and weekends. Some holidays. Nights and weekends a must.

Pool Supervisor/Guest Experience Coordinator – PT/FT
The pool supervisor will have responsibility for our pool facilities and staff and other common areas around the property to include vending, the arcade, guest laundry and exercise room. The Guest Experience Coordinator will oversee numerous guest experiences at Bird-in-Hand and work with a variety of departments to ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience. They will be an ambassador of the Bird-in-Hand properties, will maintain a high level of guest service and create processes to improve service quality. This position is responsible for coordinating special events which enhance the overall guest experience. Day Shift & Weekends.

Reservationist – PT/FT
Responsible for answering phones and taking reservations for Bird-in-Hand properties and Stage. Guest service and/or computer and keyboard experience are preferred. Part-time and Full-time hours available. Flexible Schedule mornings, evenings, 2 weekends a month and Holidays.

BIRD-IN-HAND FAMILY RESTAURANT & SMORGASBORD

Dishwasher
No Experience required . Must work 3 weekends per month. Hours 1-close or 4-close.

Host/Hostess – FT & PT
To greet our Guests with a smile, escort them to an appropriate seat, and assist them in any way that will enhance their dining experience. Handle all cashiering procedures at the end of their service. No Sundays. Part-time or Full-time, AM or PM.

Short Order Cook– PT
Preparing and plating orders following quality, portion and appearance standards. Morning, mid-day and evening shifts available Tuesday – Saturday. At least 1 year of short order experience preferred.

Prep Cook– PT/FT
Responsible for following recipes for the production and quality of all of the foods served at the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord.

Server– PT/FT
Must be knowledgeable of all foods served on both menu and smorgasbord. Takes the order from Guests, always looking to suggest items that will serve to enhance their dining experience. Provides excellent service and quality food to every Guest.

Buffet Attendant – PT/FT
Provide and maintain an attractive display of fresh quality foods to our Guests. Always greet Guests with a smile, willing to help with any needs they may have. Must be at least 18 years of age.

BIRD-IN-HAND VILLAGE INN & SUITES

Breakfast Attendant – PT
Responsible for setting up morning breakfast buffet for Guests and restocking as needed. You will order supplies and food.  This position involves engaging our Guests in conversation and creating memorable experiences for them.

Housekeeper – PT
Housekeeper wanted for daytime hours. This job entails cleaning and stocking guest rooms to ensure the Village Inn’s standards of cleanliness. You may be asked to clean common areas as well. This position is for 3-4 shifts per week and may include Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

Innkeeper Supervisor – FT
Responsible for operating the Village Inn in a way that creates a positive culture and provides guidance and training to Staff while ensuring quality work and superior service. This position is responsible for accurate and timely input of information into our systems, assisting with breakfast service as needed, and overseeing the daily operations of the front desk in collaboration with the Leadership Team of the Family Inn. Supervisory experience, preferably in the lodging industry.

TRAVELERS REST MOTEL

Breakfast Attendant – PT
Prepares, cleans up, and serves our Guests through continental breakfast. Must be friendly and enjoy interacting with people. This position is part-time, 5-10 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays. Experience preferred but not required.

Front Desk Agent – PT/FT
Responsible for engaging with our Guests, making them feel welcome and at home, while checking them in and out, taking reservations, answering questions, and making recommendations for local activities. FT or PT available. This position is primarily evenings, 1:45 to 9:15 PM, and requires every other weekend and some holidays. We are looking for a warm and friendly person. Some computer skills very helpful.

COUNTRY ACRES CAMPGROUND

Cleaner – PT
Cleaner is responsible to clean and disinfect bathhouses and cabins to ensure Country Acres Campground’s high standards of cleanliness.
