We welcome your group to the Bird-in-Hand Stage, where you can enjoy Broadway-style musicals set in Amish Country and master illusionists. Currently located on the banquet level of the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord, our stage features tiered seating for up to 175, and accessible floor seating is available. Our ground-level entrance is accessible by elevator from the main dining room upstairs.
We offer discounted show tickets for groups of 20 or more, with complimentary tickets for the driver and tour escort. For your convenience and value, Bird-in-Hand Stage tickets are also available as part of a discounted lunch or dinner package.

Abigail is delighted to be performing at Bird-in-Hand Stage for the first time! As a recent graduate of Sight & Sound Conservatory, she enjoyed performing in Jonah and Miracle of Christmas. Favorite roles include Mayzie in Seussical with Cavod Theatre and understudy the title role in Mary Poppins with South Bend Civic Theatre.
Eugene is thrilled to be a part of a Blue Gate Musicals production at Bird-in-Hand Stage this season! From his hometown in Rockford, IL, he has traveled far for this opportunity and cannot be thankful enough for it. He would like to thank his family for their continuing support. Enjoy the show!
Rachel is excited to be returning to Bird-In-Hand Stage for her 3rd Season! She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University, and is a proud native of the Buckeye State! She has performed in over 20 states and would love to hit 'em all! She was last seen performing in Elephant & Piggie's We Are In A Play at the Lexington Children's Theatre. Nathan is thrilled to be starting his fourth season with Blue Gate Musicals at Bird-in-Hand Stage. He is an Indiana Native and graduate of IPFW. He has worked at the Huron Playhouse in Ohio playing such roles as, Herbie in Gypsy and King Arthur in Camelot. Most recently, he played the role of Josiah in Josiah for President, Jacob in Our Christmas Dinner, and Hovie in Mennonite Girls Can Cook here at Bird-in-Hand Stage. Also an accomplished carpenter, Nathan has rounded out his time doing technical work for local theatres and high schools around his home, and will continue as Technical Director for this year’s season.
Alex is thrilled to be making his Blue Gate Musicals debut in The Home Game at Bird-in-Hand Stage!! Some of his recent credits include; Ricard/Principal in Junie B. Jones is Not A Crook, Pablo in Sister Act, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Linus in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Sonny in Grease, Jack in Into The Woods, and Link Larkin in Hairspray. He wants to thank God, his parents and friends for always encouraging his work, and everyone involved in this production for making it all happen! Enjoy the show!
Wendell is excited to make his debut with Blue Gate Musicals at Bird-in-Hand Stage! Wendell is from Savannah, GA and has recently graduated from Valdosta State University with a BFA in Theatre in the Musical Theatre track. He was Dave in Dreamgirls, Mush in Newsies, and Diesel/Big Deal in West Side Story at the Springer Opera House. He has also performed professionally for the Nettle Creek Players as Matt in The Fantasticks and also for Peach State Summer Theatre as Grantaire in Les Misérables, and Ensemble in Mary Poppins. Wendell thanks his parents and friends for always supporting his love for theatre.
Emily is thrilled to be performing at Bird-in-Hand Stage this season. Emily, who is from Rockford, Illinois, holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Rockford University. She recently appeared as a touring ensemble member with Musical Mysteries and More in Pittsburgh, PA, and worked in outdoor drama at Paul Green's Trumpet in the Land (Keziah). Some of her favorite past credits include: Esther Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. She sends So. Much. Love. To Mom, Dad, Josh, Matt, and Gabe.
Spencer is excited to be a part of The Home Game at Bird-in-Hand Stage this season. Spencer recently performed at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. He has also been seen as Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees at Ozark Actors Theatre. Spencer is a recent graduate of Lindenwood University with a BA in Music. He would like to thank his friends, family, and especially his teachers and mentors for their continual love and support.
Monica is thrilled to be appearing in her 4th season with Blue Gate Musicals at Bird-in-Hand Stage. Past Blue Gate credits include: Karen Ledbetter/Queen Elizabeth in Josiah for President, Rosie in The Confession, Miss Emma in Half-Stitched, Natasha in Mennonite Girls Can Cook and Sadie in Our Christmas Dinner. Originally from Orange County, California, she obtained her BFA in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and then made her way to the East Coast via New York City. After spending 4 years in the Big Apple, she enjoyed 10 years performing with Sight & Sound Theatre here in Lancaster PA as part of the casts of Abraham and Sarah, Psalms of David, Voices of Christmas, In the Beginning, Jonah, Noah and more. Locally she has also had the pleasure of working with The Fulton Theatre, PRiMA Theatre, Servant Stage Company and Portrait of a Lady Summer Cabaret Series. Favorite roles include: Sarah in Abraham and Sarah and Julie in Showboat and Nimue in Camelot. She also had her directing debut this past Winter with Suessical the Musical at Cavod Theatre in New Holland, PA. Many thanks go out to Mom, Vinnie, Amelia and Ella for all of their understanding and support, and also to God for all of the little treasures life provides.
