Make a pumpkin centerpiece from a live-edge walnut round.

Fall is coming. Welcome it with something crafty! Join Wendy Overdorf of YellowSeventeen to create a hand-painted and decorated wooden pumpkin centerpiece using a slab of walnut from Amos’s Woodburning Shop. The wood’s live edge creates a natural frame.

Wendy and her daughter come from a long line of “gourd heads.” Wendy has been growing and crafting gourds for more than 30 years. They make hand-painted gourd porch decorations, season centerpieces, birdhouses and more. What started as a small business on Etsy has expanded to multiple sites, including our Artisan Village.

As a bonus, meet one of newest artisans, Paul Miller of Creations in Wood, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
