This traditional Pennsylvania Dutch wet-bottom shoofly pie is made from an old family recipe that has been handed down for generations and fine-tuned by Grandma Smucker.
What’s in shoofly pie? Fresh from our Lancaster County bakery, it is a mouthwatering combination of a light syrup, eggs, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon topped with crumbs in our flakey pie crust. Enjoy for breakfast, serve it for dessert or give it as a unique gift.

Grandma Smucker’s Shoofly Pie
Traditional 10-inch Amish-style wet-bottom shoofly pie made from a light syrup, eggs, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a flavorful scratch-made crust. We suggest freezing our shoofly pie if you are not going to use within 1-2 days of receiving your order. For best results, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then wrap in aluminum foil or a gallon-size freezer bag. Thaw at room temperature.

I love shoofly pie since I was about five years old. We were from the Philly area, moved to Lansdale through high school. Lived in Manheim after I got out of the service. So I’ve eaten and the bird in hand restaurant, I would imagine you’re affiliated. Great family dining and your online store is great. I’m getting old are used to make my own funny cakes, and shoofly pies. Too old now to be messing with it. Since I brought up funny cake, do you have that in stock from time to time. And there’s an apple butter, tar black in color, Buckmans, something like that.
Enjoy your products you guys are great. Folks that have an eaten from the Dutch country. Don’t know what they’re missing. Bird in hand was our favorite family dining.
