Make & Take: Mandala Painted Pumpkin

« All Events

Create a unique and colorful autumn decoration

It’s that time of year for all things pumpkin. They’re popping up in fields across Lancaster County and on people’s porches. They’re finding their way into baked goods and hot beverages. Artist Debbie Sizemore, of Dot and Dusty, will help you select coordinating colors for your pumpkin and guide you through the delicate process of mandala dotting to make your own one-of-a-kind pumpkin for your shelf or tabletop.

Mandala dotting is the art of using dots of paint to create intricate circular patterns. No experience is necessary. Focusing on the beauty and symmetry of your design and creating artwork along with others can be a great way to relax and leave stress behind.

Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited. If you don’t want to miss out, call us to reserve your place in advance. The instructor will be on hand from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

$25 per person includes instruction and all materials for one 6-inch pumpkin.
