Recently, Facebook announced a new algorithm that may prevent you from seeing updates, news and special offers from the Bird-in-Hand Family of Properties. But if you like hearing from us and wish to continue receiving our posts on your timeline, Facebook will still allow you to prioritize the pages you are most interested in. Simply click the “see first” button on this page under the Follow tab.
On Mobile Device
Log into your Facebook account and click on the grid on the bottom right side of your screen for an iPhone or the hamburger button at the top right on an Android.
This will open a new page. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “Settings” and click on “News Feed Preferences.” for an iPhone. Scroll down to “News Feed Preferences on an Android
This will open a new page with more menu options, including “Prioritize who to see first.” Click that option.
You’ll see a list of Facebook pages and profiles that you already like. Scroll through the list and click on the pages you want to see regularly. The pages you choose will get a blue star in the lower right corner of their logo.
On a desktop
The steps on a desktop computer are similiar.
Log into your Facebook page and click the down arrow in the upper right corner of your screen. This will reveal a menu with the “News Feed Preferences” option.
A box will appear with more menu items.
Click on “Prioritize who to see first.”
Choose the pages you want to see first in your News Feed. The pages you choose will get a blue star icon in the upper right corner of their logo.
