You’ll also learn about the life cycle of a bee and what swarming is\, and he’ll share his decades-long experience of how beekeepers collect and process honey. You’ll also get insight into the values of various bee products\, such as honey\, pollen and propolis. \nDrop in anytime during the hour and bring your questions. DESCRIPTION:Give unique gifts from Lancaster County \nHere’s a really fun new way to wrap up your holiday gifting while getting to know some great shops in Bird-in-Hand and beyond. \nOn select Saturdays\, guests of our lodging properties will have an exclusive opportunity to board our Christmas Shopping Bus Tour\, with stops at businesses featuring Amish and Mennonite handcrafted home décor\, soaps\, candles\, gourmet foods\, baked and canned goods\, and other unique treasures that will simplify your gift giving and be sure to bring smiles and warm hearts to all those on your holiday shopping list. All guests will receive a special keepsake from our tour. \nThe excursion begins and ends at the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn\, where you’ll board our tour bus for a morning of shopping in our village\, Leola\, Intercourse and other Lancaster County towns. We’ll handle the driving and have you back at the Family Inn by early afternoon. \nThis special tour is limited to 14 guests per day and is available only on the three Saturdays listed below.
