3:00 p.m.: Afternoon Activities for All Ages
The kids can burn off some energy in the bounce house, ride pedal cars, take a wagon ride or explore the corn maze, and the whole family can test their skill at cornhole and other outdoor games. Get a bird’s-eye view of Bird-in-Hand from a tethered hot air balloon. Or browse the wares for sale at our Makers’ Market, featuring local artisans and other vendors.
4:30 p.m.: Catered Country Picnic
Your ticket includes farm-fresh dinner selections carefully prepared in our Bird-in-Hand Restaurant. Our artisan ice cream, fresh-baked whoopie pies and other desserts from our Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe will also be available for purchase.
Adult menu: Choice of pulled pork sandwich or burger, with chips, coleslaw, applesauce and choice of water, iced tea or lemonade.
Kids’ menu: Choice of hot dog or ham and cheese sandwich, with chips, applesauce and choice of water, iced tea or lemonade
6:30 p.m.: Laughter & Live Entertainment
Grab your blanket or bring a chair and spread out underneath the big top tent for an evening of outdoor entertainment featuring a Bird-in-Hand favorite and a brand new (to Bird-in-Hand) international talent.
Watch international juggling superstar Niels Duinker prove that gravity is a joke. The 8-time Guinness World Record holder keep clubs, machetes and jokes flying in a family-friendly comedy variety show full of world-class juggling, unicycling and magic, with high-energy comedy from beginning to end!
Make new friends with Ryan & Friends. This wildly talented ventriloquist, musician and all-around funny guy entertains along with some of your favorite characters from his popular Bird-in-Hand Stage show, along with a new friend and new songs, in a program that will have the whole family laughing.
8:30 p.m.: S’mores Bonfire
As the sun sets, enjoy the classic campfire treat—melted marshmallows and chocolate between crispy graham crackers. We’ll provide the s’mores fixings for the family. While supplies last.
Feel free to have fun!
There’s plenty of fresh air and plenty of room to spread out. Bring a blanket or chairs and sit under the big top for the show. Seating is first-come, first-served, so we suggest that guests come early and place blankets/lawn chairs under the tent, then enjoy a picnic meal and pre-show activities. We’ll have portable toilets and hand-washing stations for your comfort and convenience.
